Write for the First Ten Seconds
Prospects decide quickly whether to stay on the line. Say who you are, why you chose them and what the call is about, then stop talking.
Ask, Then Listen
Replace feature lists with one or two questions a prospect will find easy to answer. Their reply tells you which part of your message to use next.
Plan for the Common Objections
Most calls hit the same few responses. Give reps a short, honest reply to each, then let them practise until it sounds like their own words.
- “We already have a vendor”
- “Send me an email”
- “Now is not a good time”
